Intense Pulsed Light Therapy (IPL)

Spectrum Intense pulsed light (IPL) is used to perform various skin treatments for aesthetic and therapeutic uses including photo-rejuvenation, the removal and reduction of vascular and pigmented lesions and the reduction of active acne.

IPL

Facial Vein Removal

Facial vein removal uses targeted laser technology to reduce the appearance of spider veins and broken capillaries on the face. This non-invasive treatment is quick and effective, with minimal downtime.

Things you should know before your treatment:

Stop blood-thinning meds (e.g., fish oil, Vitamin E, ibuprofen) 1 week before treatment. Discontinue aspirin 48 hours prior if not prescribed.

Minor bruising/swelling may occur for up to a week.Leg vein treatments may cause bruising or discoloration; full results may take weeks.

​

Avoid sun, intense activity, and heat (hot tubs, saunas) for 48 hours post-treatment.

Tattoo Removal

The Spectrum Q-Switched YAG laser targets tattoo ink particles with precision, shattering them into tiny fragments. These particles are then naturally absorbed and eliminated by your body’s filtering system, gradually fading the tattoo. Multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results depending on the size, color, and depth of the tattoo.

Things You Should Know Before Your Treatment:

Avoid sun exposure, including tanning beds, for 2 weeks before and after your treatment to ensure optimal results.

A cold compress can be applied for 10-15 minutes before your treatment to help minimize discomfort.

​

Refrain from using pain medications like Motrin, Aleve, and aspirin for 3-7 days prior to treatment to reduce the risk of bruising.

Derma Chemical Peel

A non-invasive treatment that helps improve skin texture and tone by removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells. This treatment stimulates collagen production, revealing smoother, brighter, and more youthful skin. It is effective for reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation.

Things you should know before your treatment:

Avoid sun exposure for at least 1 week before your treatment.

Discontinue the use of Retin-A or any other strong exfoliants for at least 3-5 days prior to your peel.

If you have active acne, eczema, or rosacea, a consultation is recommended before proceeding.

    Sopra Med Spa Beauty Bank is like a beauty savings account. Payments of $100 per month will be automatically charged to your credit card of choice. Your money will build up in your Sopra Beauty Bank wallet and can be redeemed at any time.
  • What is the benefit to me?
    These memberships help you budget and save for your upcoming appointments as well as get you the best discounted rates for being a loyal customer to Sopra Med Spa.
  • Are there any fees associated with these?
    No! Every penny you pay goes directed to YOU to use on any service.
  • Can I use my Sopra Med Spa Beauty Bank on services in the salon?
    No, your money can be used on ANY SPA services at Sopra (ex: laser hair removal, facials, massages, waxing, etc). Your beauty bank wallet CANNOT be used for salon services (haircuts, color, etc). The services listed are the ones you will receive special deals for members only.
  • Is this a contract?
    Yes, there is a 6 month minimum contract. After that, it just goes month to month! There is a $200 cancellation fee for the Sopra Beauty Bank if cancelled prior to the end of agreement to cover the savings you were given during your term.
  • Can the beauty bank be cancelled anytime?
    You can cancel your beauty bank anytime (with a 30-day notice) after your first 6 months.
  • Is there a certain day I am charged?
    You can choose which day of the month you want your membership to charge your account.
  • How do I know the amount in my wallet?
    Send us a text at 913-398-4479 and we can let you know how much you have in your beauty bank!
  • Do these memberships auto renew?
    Yes, you will be charged monthly until you choose to cancel.
  • Can I transfer the money in my wallet to another client to pay for their services?
    Yes, you can choose to pay for another client's med spa services with the money in your wallet. They will not receive the same member discounts, we will only be able to transfer the dollar amount to pay for their service.
