Hey there! I’m Becky – and I am so excited to welcome you to Sopra!

As one of the Guest Service Coordinators, my goal is to be one of the first smiling faces you see when you walk through our doors. I truly believe coming to the salon should feel like a cozy hug with a side of fabulous, and I’m here to make sure your visit starts with warmth and ends with you feeling even more beautiful and confident than when you arrived.

I’m originally from Wichita but made my way “home” to Kansas City after spending several amazing years soaking up the sunshine in Southern California with my husband, Paul. If you ever need travel recs (beach, mountain or desert vibes!), I’ve got a list ready to go. Now, we live just a few minutes from the salon with our two lovable Bernedoodles, Aggie and Willie, who keep life fun and fluffy. Outside of Sopra, you’ll usually find me strolling through garden centers, walking the pups, repping K-State, or elbows-deep in my flower beds.

Hair and beauty have always had a special place in my heart—my mom was a barber, so I grew up surrounded by the sound of clippers and the joy of connection. After several years as an elementary school teacher, I made the leap into cosmetology school here in KC, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Being at Sopra feels like everything coming full circle—a place where creativity, connection, and community come together. I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing team and can’t wait to greet you with a smile!
