The first time I knew I wanted to be a hairstylist I was 10 years old and had just gone to my first upscale hair salon. I loved everything about it, from the happy chatter happening around me to how glamorous all of the stylists were. When the time came to decide between cosmetology school or a traditional 4 year college, the decision to skip college was easy. Not going to lie, there was a tiny hint of sadness at missing what I considered a 4 year party but I still have no regrets!

 

I’ve been doing hair since 2004 and I always tell people that the longer I do it, the more I love it. I have built so many special relationships with my clients, that I truly consider them more as friends. The ability to be artistic and make people feel good about themselves makes me feel incredibly lucky to be able to do what I do. 

 

I am very methodical and have been told by many people that they love watching me work, as I get very focused. My number 1 priority is listening to exactly what my client wants and giving helpful input so that I can give them the best results for their lifestyle. I love doing all things hair but if you are looking for a traditional highlight or a bob that looks great even when growing out then I’m your girl.

 

When I’m not doing hair, I’m chasing after my sassy little daughter and my 2 dogs.  My husband and I enjoy a good date night out, typically somewhere downtown and then usually end the night back at home watching 90s rom-coms (obviously my choice not his but he is sweet enough to go along with it).
