How to prepare for your injectable appointment:

Avoid taking any OTC blood thinners one-week prior to treatment.

Avoid the following, but not limited to: Aspirin, Motrin, Aleve, Advil, Celebrex or Ibuprofen. If you take a prescription blood thinner such as Coumadin or Plavix, Eliquis please check with your prescribing physician if you are able to discontinue for 7 to 10 days prior to your appointment and 2 days post filler treatment.

Avoid OTC supplements including but not limited to the following: St. John’s Wort, Gingko biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng, and Vitamin E.

Discontinue use at least one-week prior to your appointment.

Do not consume alcohol 24-hour before your appointment. This can increase the risk for bruising and bleeding at the injection site(s).

If you have a history of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on your face, inform your injector one-week prior to your appointment to allow a prescription medication (Valtrex) to be prescribed to avoid an outbreak.

Avoid dental procedures or cleanings 2-weeks pre filler and 2-weeks post filler!

Come to your appointment with a clean face and no make-up.

Eat a small meal or snack prior to your appointment.
